Pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood bring big shifts physically, mentally, and emotionally. Let's steady the ground beneath your feet so you can feel more supported, present, and yourself again. Some of what you're carrying may trace back to a difficult delivery, a complicated path to conception, or the quiet disorientation of becoming someone new. We'll work through what's actually there, at a pace that respects where you are right now.
Exhausted from carrying the mental load of a new baby, a body still recovering, and a version of yourself you're not sure how to find again. You're doing everything right and still don't feel like you.
A complication, a moment that went sideways, a plan that fell apart in the room. It's over, but part of it hasn't left you yet.
Everyone keeps asking how the baby's sleeping. Almost no one's asked how you're actually doing since the day you delivered.
We'll determine which session length to start with during your complimentary consult.
Some of what you're carrying needs a standing weekly hour. Some of it needs more room than a standard session gives you, especially when a birth experience or a hard stretch of postpartum hasn't had anywhere to land yet. Both formats use the same trauma-informed approach, adapted to wherever you are in this season.

I’ve hired other photographers before, but no one’s ever captured my brand this clearly. The planning process was super thoughtful, and the shoot itself was honestly fun? I use these photos everywhere.

I'm Vickery Rendall, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in Bellingham, Washington. I hold a master's degree from Boston University, over fourteen years of clinical experience, and current licensure in multiple states across the US. I see clients in person and by telehealth.
My training includes specialized work in infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum experience, alongside a decade inside emergency departments and medical crisis settings. But some of what I understand about this season didn't come from a training program. I'm a mother myself, and I know what it's like to carry a hard birth story, a long recovery, or a version of yourself you're still trying to find again.
No. Many people I work with are navigating something real and difficult that doesn't fit neatly into a diagnosis, whether that's a birth experience that didn't go as planned, ongoing infertility, or simply not feeling like themselves since becoming a parent.
Yes. Perinatal support isn't limited to the immediate postpartum window. If a past pregnancy or birth experience is still affecting you, this work can help regardless of how much time has passed.
Yes. Partners navigating infertility, pregnancy, or the transition into parenthood alongside someone else are welcome here too.
A 53-minute session works well for ongoing, weekly processing. A 110-minute session gives more room when something, like reprocessing a difficult birth experience, needs time to fully unfold without the clock cutting it short mid-process.
