You can run a code, deliver the worst news of someone's life, and clock out ninety minutes later like it's a normal Tuesday. That skill kept you alive in the job. It's also why you're still bracing at home, long after the reason for it is gone.
Sessions here don't start with explaining what a code, a bad outcome, or a shift that broke you a little actually feels like. You won't need to translate for me.
What we build together is structure your nervous system can actually use: EMDR, ART, somatic processing, and Deep Brain Reorienting, applied based on what you're carrying and how your body holds it, not a fixed script run the same way for every client. Some of that happens across ongoing weekly sessions. Some of it happens in a single, focused day when your schedule or your nervous system needs to move faster than once a week allows.
Either way, the work has a plan behind it. You'll know what we're doing and why before we start.
I build your plan around your history and what your work still demands of you. If that means a 48-hour trip to Bellingham for an in-person intensive so you can badge back in Monday, I'm ready for you. This is the format for getting it handled, not easing into it.
When the work is ongoing, we stay in it together, session by session, for as long as it takes. Every plan includes structured, trauma-focused treatment and a clear direction from day one. If you're a supervisor or department head looking for somewhere to refer a physician or team member, I'm equipped to take that referral and get them started quickly.

While EMDR works with the memory itself, DBR works one layer beneath it, with the body's initial shock response before it ever became a story you could tell. There's no need to retell what happened in detail. I draw on DBR alongside EMDR and somatic work to reach what talk alone hasn't been able to move.
Support through pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, and birth trauma, especially when the experience didn't go the way you expected. We work through what's surfacing physically and emotionally so you can feel steady and like yourself again. Same EMDR and trauma-informed approach used throughout this practice, adapted to this season of life.
Couples work for partners ready to understand what's actually driving the disconnect, not just manage its symptoms. Sessions blend structured communication tools with trauma-informed approaches when past experiences are shaping present patterns. A good fit if you're both willing to look honestly at what needs to change.
Weekly or biweekly sessions for physicians, nurses, and first responders working through the weight of high-stakes, high-exposure careers. We use EMDR, somatic work, and practical tools to help your nervous system settle, not just talk around the problem. Ongoing, relationship-based care built for the pace of your actual life.
Services Include:
These are individual, ongoing sessions built around what you're actually carrying, not a generic treatment plan. Most of the people I work with are physicians, nurses, and first responders managing the weight of medical trauma and the toll of caring for others under pressure. We start with what's showing up for you specifically and build from there.

You don't get to pause a code that didn't go the way you needed it to, or the first minutes on scene at something horrific, and process it before moving on. You badge back in for the next shift whether you're ready or not.
Weekly sessions assume you have months to slowly work through what happened, but intensives compress that same depth of work into focused blocks of time, so you can feel real change now and go back to doing this work again next week, steadier than before.
Through EMDR, ART, and other trauma-focused approaches, we meet the intensity of what you carry with a process built to match it.
